Empty Bowl Project is a grass roots effort to fight hunger.  Local artists make bowls and sell donated soup from local restaurants to support a designated local food service organization.  The 2013 beneficiary is Hawaii Meals on Wheels.  For a small contribution, you can enjoy a simple meal of soup and bread, and take home a hand made bowl as a reminder there are always Empty Bowls in the world.

Empty Bowl Hawaii is presented by the Hawaii Potters Guild.

The ad campaign for Empty Bowl was produced by Core Group One.  Normally, I don’t shoot video projects (I’m really a still photo guy), but Meals on Wheels does such awesome work – I just had to work on this project.
